Bio-remodelling Injections

Bio- remodelling is an innovative biological activity to anti-aging which counteracts skin laxity of the face and in areas traditionally difficult to treat, such as the neck. hands and arms.
Bio-remodelling injection is the only product which acts to stimulate all four types of collagen, elastin, and fat cells.

As we age, the presence of hyaluronic acid in the skin naturally starts to drop, which causes the skin to lose its natural firmness and elasticity. Most people begin to see the effects of hyaluronic acid depletion as they reach their 30s – and Bio-remodelling injection is the perfect treatment for anyone looking to counteract this.

Bio-remodelling injection is injected in key areas under the skin using very fine needles. It is relatively painless and there is usually no need for topical pain relief creams prior to treatment. The treatment itself is very quick, taking only about 10 – 20 minutes.

On the face only five injection points are necessary on each side of the face to give maximum results: the tops of cheeks, side of the face, lines around the mouth, nasolabial folds and laughter lines.

It can also be used to improve the appearance of the skin around the neck, chest and décolletage or anywhere on the body to achieve tighter, firmer more hydrated skin.

Even though bio-remodelling injection is an injectable, it’s important to know that bio-remodelling injectable is not a filler.

Fillers are intended to add volume and replace volume loss in the face.

Bio-remodelling injections cannot replace volume loss or augment the shape of your face. Instead, it
it stimulates stem cells and provides a stable environment for the laying-down of new collagen and elastin in the superficial layers of the skin to to deeply hydrate the skin, improve skin elasticity and quality, and improve skin laxity.

Once injected into the correct layer of the skin, bio-remodelling injection flows and spreads to the other parts of the face or skin, providing a very nice stretch and tightening to the saggy skin.

It is also capable of stimulating our skin to produce all four types of collagen and elastin – these vital substances which are lost from the skin as we age. Thereby further improving the skin elasticity and skin quality.

There is no downtime. It is advisable to avoid alcohol, aspirin, or anti-inflammatory medication in the 24 hours before treatment.

Immediately after treatment you should avoid wearing make-up, and give sports, swimming, and any other strenuous physical activity a miss for 24 hours. It is also best to avoid saunas and steam rooms for a few days after treatment.

Side effects are uncommon and usually mild. They include small bumps, redness, bruising, mild tenderness, or discoloration which generally will resolve within a few days.

From a safety perspective, bio-remodelling injections are highly bio-compatible because it is made from ultra-pure, natural Hyaluronic Acid and is stabilised without the addition of chemical cross-linking agents. This reduces the risk of adverse reactions.

Bio-remodelling injections must not be used in concurrence with treatments such as laser resurfacing and medium deep skin-peeling.

Please contact our clinic if redness, tenderness, itching or swelling worsens after 3 days, rather than settling. Blanching, mottled bruising/redness, or pain (beyond tenderness as you would expect with bruising or swelling).

Please also contact our clinic if you notice anything else that may be making you feel unwell.

• As the product is injected in small ‘deposits’, you may be able to see them initially, but they settle usually within hours. It may be possible to feel the product where it has been injected under the skin. It will settle, there is no need to massage.
• Make-up should not be worn for 12 hours
• You are advised to avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48 hours
• Avoid sunbathing, and extremes of heat or cold for 14 days post treatment.
• Any bruising may take a few days to appear, arnica can be helpful in clearing bruising.
• It is advisable to avoid aspirin and alcohol for 12-48 hours after treatment.
• Tenderness should settle as swelling and bruising goes down.
• The following should be avoided at least 1 week post treatment:
  • Direct ultraviolet light exposure (sun and solariums)
  • Further clinical treatments (including, but not limited to): microdermabrasion, laser, intense pulsed light, chemical peels, muscle relaxant injections, and dermal fillers.

Bio-remodelling injections remodel the skin after just 2 treatments (usually from 4 weeks apart) resulting in tighter, firmer, hydrated, smoother, radiant skin. Sometimes further treatments are required to see the full benefit of bio-remodelling injections. Generally, this would be determined during your initial consultation.
